Bus, Train

The guy says to me "these people are going to die instantly" ... Well, everybody dies instantly. This is the only way you can die.

Metro stop experiment

Will one of the nation's greatest musicians be noticed in a D.C. Metro stop during rush hour? Violinist Joshua Bell experimented for Gene Weingarten's Sunday Magazine story in The Washington Post. After 43 minutes he earned $32.17, which would be almost $40 per hour. Three days before he appeared at the Metro station, Bell had filled the house at Boston's stately Symphony Hall, where merely pretty good seats went for $100.

Watch it below and notice Stacy Furukawa who arrived near the end position herself 10 feet away and remained planted in that spot until the end.

Whatever ...

When you're asking too many people to give you a piece of advice, usually you don't seek for an advice but a confirmation for what you have in mind.

The mission had been extended by a day because Nasa wanted the shuttle's crew to make repairs to a machine which makes drinking water from urine.
The equipment to provide drinking water from astronauts' urine had failed several times since it was delivered two weeks ago.

-BBC

And I am wondering how you know the machine is not working? Is it the color, the smell or the taste? I mean, after all, it could be an ugly discovery.

The show must go on

Empty spaces - what we are living for
Abondoned places - I guess we know the score
On and on, does anybody know what we are looking for
Another hero, another mindless crime
Behind the curtain, in the pantomime
Hold the line, does anybody want to take it anymore
The show must go on
The show must go on
Inside my heart is breaking
My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on.

To quote or not to quote

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Either I don't get it or sometime quotes don't make that much sense.

"Everything is perception" said the guy at the Starbucks.
And I thought if Einstein had said it, it would have been a good quote.
